Christmas

We had a great Christmas! We had appetizers and played games at our house along with my side of the family on Christmas eve. The boys got their pajames and Kyler was so excited to go to bed so Santa could come. He left out cookies and milk and carrots. It was cute!

Christmas Day was even better of course. Around 8am Kyler came into our room asking if Santa came. We woke up Daxton and went down stairs. Kyler had a confused look on his face and said "Santa didn't Come." We pointed out the Full stockings and all the new presents under the tree, and then he got excited. I don't know what exactly he was expecting to see, but I guess next year we need to make it more over the top. So he can tell Santa has been there.
Around 11 we went to My mom's to do Christmas with tha family. As usual we were spoiled. It is so fun to open presents with the family almost like we used to when we were kids. We had the traditional cinnamon roll breakfast and then napped and played until Dinner. At dinner we have Chrstmas poppers, they are a little firework that inside has a toy and a crown. They are fun. My mom always does such a great job making it a special day.
Later in the day we went over to Brett's parents. It was nice but very quiet because their family was planning to celebrate later when Cody and Micki came to town.
The week following was full of fun with Brett's family. Extended family party, then Christmas celebration with the close family. It was very nice. Also newyears eve snacks, games and fireworks. Kyler thought the fireworks were so cool. He keeps asking for it again.
